Getting Here
Take a short 50 minute drive over the range South of Hobart and come and view the amazing Huon Valley. As you cross over the range past Sleeping Beauty Mountain, you drop into the lush greenness of the Huon. This is an area to enjoy slowly taking in all it has to offer by stopping for a few days in local accommodation. Collect all types of seasonal fresh local produce on the side of the road to enjoy on your journey.
By Bus and Car
Tassie Link offers bus services from Hobart to Franklin. Take the 718 or 716 buses to Dover or Geeveston. Details here. Hiring a car is a great way to get around and explore the state's southern region.

Geeveston Visitor Centre – is located within a stunning red brick building in the centre of the town of Geeveston. Open 7 days a week, from the moment you enter the knowledgeable and friendly volunteer staff provide visitors a warm welcome. They are ready and waiting to assist with information and are keen to share with you the quality local produce, artwork, books, maps, and guides.
