As the cooler months set in our hours are changing. We now open 10AM till 3PM every day except we are closed Saturdays. We can arrange tours on demand.

We offer Tours where you can Learn more about our history, with our passionate volunteer guides, as a single visitor, as a family or within a tour group.
We offer a range of courses for both learning and leisure. Some are half or full days some a few weeks. As well as our 1-Year Shipwright Course.
EXPLORE
We're pretty proud of our location. When our big doors are open that face the Huon River, we can see the reflections on the crystal clear water on sunny days. It is amazing to walk along the Franklin foreshore and look for wildlife and drool over the boats moored up or sailing by. And don’t forget to explore what's around, in the Huon Valley on both sides of the river. Extend your stay and find some local accommodation to put down a weary head.
